What is your SHAPE?

I have had the chance to experience my spiritual gift but never really put it to work. I am in the process of examining my gifts and I have been serving in different roles to see which gift I want to make use of the most.  (1 Peter 4:9-10) says to offer hospitality without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering Gods grace in its various forms.  At this point I am using the scripture to guide me uniquely, I am asking God to reveal how he want me to use my gifts to accomplish his work in the world. I do believe that I have the God-given special ability to serve and strengthen the body of Christ by sharing the love of Christ with others. I will like to have the ability to communicate God’s message in a special language

You Ask Why I Follow This JESUS?

You ask why I follow this Jesus?
Why I love him the way I do?
When the world’s turn away from his teachings
And why the people who serve him are few.

It’s not the rewards I am after
Or gifts I hope to receive
It’s the presence that calls for commitment
It’s the spirit I trust and believe.

The lord doesn’t shelter his faithful                                                      
Or spear them all suffering and pain
Like everyone else I have burdens,
And walk through my share of rain.

Yet he gives me a plan and purpose,
And that joy only Christians have known
I never know what comes tomorrow,
But I do know I am never alone.

It’s the love that is always there when you need it
It’s the words that redeem and inspire
It’s the longing to ever be with him
That burns in my heart like a fire.

So you ask why I love my Lord Jesus?
Well, Friend, that is so easy to see,
But the one thing that fills me with wonder is
Why Jesus loves someone like me.

Worry NOT

There are two days in every week we should not worry about, two days which should be kept free from fear and apprehension. One of these days is Yesterday with all its mistakes and cares, its faults and blunders, its aches and pains. Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control. All the money in the world cannot bring back yesterday. We cannot undo a single act we performed; we cannot erase a single word we said. Yesterday is gone forever.

The other day we should not worry about is Tomorrow with all its possible adversities, its burden, it large promise and it poor performance; Tomorrow is also beyond our immediate control.
Tomorrow's sun will rise, either in splendor or behind a mast of clouds, but it will rise. Until it does, we have no stake in Tomorrow, for it is yet to be born.

These leaves Today. Any person can fight the battle of just one day. It is when you and I add the burden of those awful eternity - "Yesterday and Tomorrow" that we will break down.

It is not the experience of today that drives a person mad, it is the remorse or bitterness of something which happened Yesterday and the dread of what Tomorrow may bring. Let us, therefore, live one day at a time.

HAVE A GOOD LIFE

I did not bargain on hearing what’s not being said. There are something’s we can do without in life, and throwing the word “LOVE” around is a crime. How can u tell me you love me and needed me, but yet you don’t want to talk about whatever is wrong with you, I guess you must be tired of me because you just left me hanging. I don’t want to guess if you want me or not, it really isn’t something you have to think hard about. It isn’t your fault though I blame myself for making it so easy for you to talk to me. If you have a reason for acting the way you acted towards me and you are not speaking up, why can’t you just be a man and tell me that I am not good enough for you, but mind you there is someone that will cherish and love me for me. I can tell you that I have had my share of disappointments so this is not new to me: I have been struck by love, I have been stuck by love, I have been partly blinded by love and worst of all I have wasted my time for love, but I have never been a fool for love because I always have to remember that I am royalty and it will take a real man too see that. I believe that LOVE should be full time, overtime, all the time and if no man is man enough to see that then he have to roll as far as he can away from me. I know I can do better, because a candy is no good anymore if all it does is hurt my teeth. I am not afraid to open my eyes to recognize, I have to say that although you might have run your game of sleeping with me, but I am still wise enough to see. It is so sad that you have to read all these in this letter, but I am a firm believer in expressing how I feel through words, so this is my goodbye. I will continue to pray for you just as much as pray for my self…..HAVE A GOOD LIFE!!!!!

OVERCOMER

Do you believe that your life has ended because of your current situation? Is there anything in particular that you are going through that makes you feel less to nothing? Do you have negative people around you that constantly put you down with words? Do you have low self esteem? Are you in denial of your Faith? Say to your self these things: I will break through any obstacle that comes my way. I am living evidence of God’s vessel and no weapon fashioned against me will prosper. I will overcome and overshadow my enemies for Christ is my rock and shield. God is in control, so I will forget about my breakdown because it is time for me to break-through. This is my time to shine…. AMEN!!! “This thing I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
